Taskeb is the task management system for teams that need to know what actually got done. Assign work, keep a daily diary, chase follow-ups and verify every result, with everything synced to your own Google Sheets.
Replace the group texts, sticky notes and guesswork.
Most teams track work in five places and trust none of them. Taskeb puts assignment, daily reporting and sign-off into one system that managers can read at a glance.
"I texted him about it"
Every task has an owner and a deadline
Work is assigned in writing, with a due date, priority and department. Nobody can say they didn't know.
"I think it was done"
Done means checked
Staff attach proof when they finish. A manager verifies it before the task counts as complete.
"Where is that file?"
Every file is indexed
Documents uploaded against tasks land in Google Drive and appear in one searchable index for admins.
The product
Eight tools that work as one system.

Questions
Common questions.
Still unsure? Book a demo and we'll set up Taskeb with your real departments while you watch.
Do my employees need a Google account?
No. Staff sign up with any work email. Only the company admin connects a Google account, which is used for Sheets sync and Drive file storage.
Can my team use it on their phones?
Yes. Taskeb has an Android and iOS app for tasks, diary entries, follow-ups and photo proof, plus a web dashboard for managers and admins.
Who can see an employee's files?
Each employee sees only their own files. Admins can see every employee's files from the Drive index. Managers see work belonging to their own department.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your tasks, diaries and verifications are already in your Google Sheet and your files are in your Google Drive. They stay with you after you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Enterprise customers can contact us about paying by invoice.
What if we have more than 500 users?
Contact us. We'll set up a custom plan for your headcount with multi-branch setup, custom reports and a dedicated account manager.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, your workspace becomes read-only and your records stay in your Google Sheet.
Can I add users in the middle of a billing cycle?
Yes, up to your plan's user limit at no extra cost. If you need more, upgrade and pay only the difference for the rest of the cycle.
Can I export my data?
Your records are already in your Google Sheet and your files in your Google Drive, so you can use or export them at any time.
Is Taskeb secure?
Each company has a private workspace, access follows the roles you set, and data is encrypted in transit. See the Security page for details.

We built Taskeb because "I think it's done" isn't good enough.
Taskeb started inside a real company, as a Google Sheet, a set of forms and a lot of follow-up calls. It became the system that team runs on. Now we're making it available to every business that needs proof of work.
“Done means checked. The idea Taskeb is built on
Written beats rememberedYour data is yours
Our story
From a spreadsheet to a system.
Like most growing companies, we assigned work over phone calls and group texts, tracked it in spreadsheets and on whiteboards, and spent the end of every week asking who had actually finished what.
So we built a simple tool: every task written down with an owner and a deadline, every employee keeping a daily diary, every result checked by a manager before it counted as done, and everything saved to our own Google Sheet.
It changed how the whole company worked. Taskeb is that tool, rebuilt as a proper web and mobile product so any team can use it.
What we believe
Four ideas behind every feature.
These principles decide what goes into Taskeb and what stays out.
01
Written beats remembered
If a task isn't written down with an owner and a date, it doesn't exist. Taskeb makes writing it down faster than saying it.
02
Done means checked
Finishing work and proving it are part of the same job. Verification is built in, not bolted on.
03
Your data is yours
Your records sync to your own Google Sheets and Drive. You can leave any time and take everything with you.
04
Simple enough for everyone
Field staff, office teams and owners all use the same system. If it needs training to use, we haven't finished designing it.

This policy explains what information Taskeb collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, web app and mobile apps.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, work email, phone number, company name, department and role.
Work data: the tasks, diary entries, follow-ups, comments, proof and files your team adds to Taskeb.
Usage information: sign-in times, device type, app version and activity inside the app, used to provide activity monitoring to your company admin and to improve the product.
Billing information: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
2. How we use information
We use your information to run the service, sync your records to your connected Google account, send reminders and notifications, provide support, process payments and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Google Sheets and Google Drive
When your admin connects a Google account, Taskeb writes your company's records to the Google Sheet and Drive folders you choose. That data lives in your Google account and is controlled by you. We only access the files Taskeb creates or that you select.
4. Who can see your data
Inside your company, access follows the roles your admin sets. Employees see their own work, managers see their department and admins see all company data. Outside your company, we share data only with service providers who help us run Taskeb, such as hosting (Google Firebase) and payment processing, or when required by law.
5. Storage and security
Each company's data is kept in a separate workspace. Data is encrypted in transit and access to our systems is restricted to authorized staff.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, your workspace data is deleted from our systems after 90 days. Records already synced to your Google account remain there.
7. Your choices
You can view and update your profile at any time. Your company admin can export or delete company data. To make a privacy request, contact us.
8. California residents
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us.
9. Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we will notify company admins by email before they take effect.

Monitoring
Activity Monitoring Done Right: Measuring Output, Not Surveillance
Owners need to know who is active, who is behind and who is carrying the team. Here’s how to monitor activity in a way that is fair, useful and respected by your employees.
TTTaskeb Team5 min read
“Monitoring” is a word that makes many employees nervous, and for good reason. Too many tools measure the wrong things: keystrokes, mouse movements, time on screen. They treat staff as suspects and produce data that tells owners very little about whether the business is actually moving forward.
Yet owners genuinely need to know how work is going. Who is active today? Who has fallen behind? Who is quietly carrying the team? Without that visibility, problems surface late and good people go unrecognized.
The answer isn’t to stop monitoring. It is to monitor the right things. This article explains the difference between surveillance and meaningful activity monitoring, what Taskeb measures and why, and how to use activity data to support your team rather than police it.
Surveillance vs. meaningful monitoring
Surveillance measures inputs: time logged in, apps opened, screenshots taken. It tells you someone was present, not whether they accomplished anything. It also damages trust, and trust is expensive to rebuild.
Meaningful monitoring measures outputs and signals that relate to real work:
Tasks completed and verified, not just started.
Diary consistency, meaning whether people record their day.
Follow-ups kept or missed.
Overdue work, and how long it has been overdue.
Last active time, as a simple signal of whether someone is engaged today.
A simple rule
Measure what you would be comfortable showing to the person being measured. If you wouldn’t, don’t measure it.
Activity builds up across the week: tasks completed, diaries kept and follow-ups honored.
What Taskeb shows owners
The Activity view gives admins a clear picture of every person, and managers the same view for their own department. For each employee you can see:
Signal
What it tells you
Last active
Whether someone has engaged with their work today
Activity over 12 days
Patterns of busy and quiet days at a glance
Tasks done and verified
Actual output, confirmed by a manager
Overdue tasks
Where someone may be stuck or overloaded
Diary streak
How consistently someone records their day
Admins also receive a weekly summary email with the same information for every department, so they can review the week without opening a dashboard.

Reading activity data fairly
Numbers without context can mislead. A few principles help owners and managers read activity data fairly.
Look at patterns, not single days. Everyone has quiet days. A consistent pattern over two or three weeks is what matters.
Compare like with like. A salesperson and an accountant will have very different activity patterns. Compare people in similar roles, or compare a person to their own history.
Treat low activity as a question, not a verdict. When someone’s activity drops, the most likely explanations are workload, unclear priorities or personal circumstances. Start with a conversation.
Recognize high performers. Activity data is just as useful for spotting people who consistently deliver. Tell them you noticed.
The purpose of monitoring isn’t to catch people doing too little. It’s to help people who are stuck and recognize people who are excelling.
Using activity data to support your team
Here are practical ways managers use Taskeb’s activity view every week.
Spot overload early. If one person has many more open tasks and overdue items than their colleagues, rebalance work before they burn out.
Find hidden blockers. A drop in completed tasks paired with long diary entries often means someone is being pulled into unplanned work. Protect their time.
Support new hires. New employees often hesitate to ask for help. Watching their activity for the first few weeks lets managers step in at the right moment.
Plan capacity. Seeing how many tasks each department completes per week helps owners decide when to hire.
Checklist
Review activity weekly, not daily
Look at patterns across two to three weeks
Start every concern with a conversation
Rebalance work when someone is overloaded
Recognize consistent high performers
Being transparent with your team
The single best way to make monitoring work is to be open about it. Tell your team what Taskeb records, why, and who can see it. Explain that the goal is fair recognition and early support, not surveillance. Show employees their own activity so they can see what their manager sees.
Most people are comfortable with monitoring that is visible, limited to work outcomes and used fairly. What they resent is hidden tracking and data used only to criticize. Transparency turns monitoring from something done to people into something done with them.
What Taskeb deliberately doesn’t track
It is worth being explicit. Taskeb does not record keystrokes, take screenshots, monitor personal apps or track location in the background. Activity is based on the work people do in Taskeb itself: tasks, diaries, follow-ups and verification. That keeps the data relevant and respects the line between work and personal life.
Turning activity into better management
Over time, activity data helps owners answer questions that used to rely on gut feeling. Which departments are consistently on time? Which managers verify work quickly and which are bottlenecks? Which recurring tasks are always late? Each answer points to a concrete improvement.
Because all activity is also recorded in your Google Sheet, you can build longer-term reports: quarterly comparisons, seasonal patterns and year-over-year trends. These insights are invaluable for planning, budgeting and performance reviews.
Activity data in performance reviews
Performance reviews are often the least trusted conversations in a company, mostly because they rely on memory. Managers remember the last few weeks clearly and the rest of the year vaguely. Employees remember their big wins and forget the ordinary days of solid work.
Activity data changes that. When a manager and employee sit down together, they can look at the same record: tasks completed and verified over the period, follow-ups kept, diary consistency and how overdue work was handled. The conversation moves from opinions to evidence.
A few practices keep reviews fair:
Share the data before the meeting, so nobody is surprised.
Balance numbers with context. A quieter quarter might reflect a difficult project, a new role or time spent training others.
Ask the employee what the data misses. Some of the most valuable work, like mentoring or solving a tricky customer problem, won’t show up in counts.
Used this way, activity records make reviews shorter, fairer and more useful for everyone involved.
Setting expectations with your team
Before you start looking at activity data, agree on what good looks like. Sit down with each team and discuss a few simple expectations: diaries submitted by the end of each working day, overdue tasks either updated or flagged within a day, follow-ups handled on their due date or escalated with a reason. Write these expectations down and share them.
When expectations are agreed in advance, activity data stops feeling like a judgment and becomes a shared scoreboard. Employees can check their own view at any time and see whether they are on track. Managers can point to the agreement instead of personal opinion when something slips. And owners get a consistent standard across every department, which makes it far easier to compare teams fairly.
Revisit these expectations every few months. As the team grows and roles change, what was reasonable for a small team may need adjusting, and involving employees in that conversation keeps the system fair.
The bottom line
Good monitoring measures outcomes, is transparent, and is used to support people rather than police them. Taskeb gives owners and managers the signals that actually matter, including tasks verified, diaries kept, follow-ups honored and work overdue, so they can recognize great work, catch problems early and manage with facts instead of assumptions.
