Taskeb is the task management system for teams that need to know what actually got done. Assign work, keep a daily diary, chase follow-ups and verify every result, with everything synced to your own Google Sheets.
Replace the group texts, sticky notes and guesswork.
Most teams track work in five places and trust none of them. Taskeb puts assignment, daily reporting and sign-off into one system that managers can read at a glance.
"I texted him about it"
Every task has an owner and a deadline
Work is assigned in writing, with a due date, priority and department. Nobody can say they didn't know.
"I think it was done"
Done means checked
Staff attach proof when they finish. A manager verifies it before the task counts as complete.
"Where is that file?"
Every file is indexed
Documents uploaded against tasks land in Google Drive and appear in one searchable index for admins.

Questions
Common questions.
Still unsure? Book a demo and we'll set up Taskeb with your real departments while you watch.
Do my employees need a Google account?
No. Staff sign up with any work email. Only the company admin connects a Google account, which is used for Sheets sync and Drive file storage.
Can my team use it on their phones?
Yes. Taskeb has an Android and iOS app for tasks, diary entries, follow-ups and photo proof, plus a web dashboard for managers and admins.
Who can see an employee's files?
Each employee sees only their own files. Admins can see every employee's files from the Drive index. Managers see work belonging to their own department.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your tasks, diaries and verifications are already in your Google Sheet and your files are in your Google Drive. They stay with you after you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Enterprise customers can contact us about paying by invoice.
What if we have more than 500 users?
Contact us. We'll set up a custom plan for your headcount with multi-branch setup, custom reports and a dedicated account manager.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, your workspace becomes read-only and your records stay in your Google Sheet.
Can I add users in the middle of a billing cycle?
Yes, up to your plan's user limit at no extra cost. If you need more, upgrade and pay only the difference for the rest of the cycle.
Can I export my data?
Your records are already in your Google Sheet and your files in your Google Drive, so you can use or export them at any time.

We built Taskeb because "I think it's done" isn't good enough.
Taskeb started inside a real company, as a Google Sheet, a set of forms and a lot of follow-up calls. It became the system that team runs on. Now we're making it available to every business that needs proof of work.
“Done means checked. The idea Taskeb is built on
Written beats rememberedYour data is yours
Our story
From a spreadsheet to a system.
Like most growing companies, we assigned work over phone calls and group texts, tracked it in spreadsheets and on whiteboards, and spent the end of every week asking who had actually finished what.
So we built a simple tool: every task written down with an owner and a deadline, every employee keeping a daily diary, every result checked by a manager before it counted as done, and everything saved to our own Google Sheet.
It changed how the whole company worked. Taskeb is that tool, rebuilt as a proper web and mobile product so any team can use it.
What we believe
Four ideas behind every feature.
These principles decide what goes into Taskeb and what stays out.
01
Written beats remembered
If a task isn't written down with an owner and a date, it doesn't exist. Taskeb makes writing it down faster than saying it.
02
Done means checked
Finishing work and proving it are part of the same job. Verification is built in, not bolted on.
03
Your data is yours
Your records sync to your own Google Sheets and Drive. You can leave any time and take everything with you.
04
Simple enough for everyone
Field staff, office teams and owners all use the same system. If it needs training to use, we haven't finished designing it.

This policy explains what information Taskeb collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, web app and mobile apps.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, work email, phone number, company name, department and role.
Work data: the tasks, diary entries, follow-ups, comments, proof and files your team adds to Taskeb.
Usage information: sign-in times, device type, app version and activity inside the app, used to provide activity monitoring to your company admin and to improve the product.
Billing information: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
2. How we use information
We use your information to run the service, sync your records to your connected Google account, send reminders and notifications, provide support, process payments and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Google Sheets and Google Drive
When your admin connects a Google account, Taskeb writes your company's records to the Google Sheet and Drive folders you choose. That data lives in your Google account and is controlled by you. We only access the files Taskeb creates or that you select.
4. Who can see your data
Inside your company, access follows the roles your admin sets. Employees see their own work, managers see their department and admins see all company data. Outside your company, we share data only with service providers who help us run Taskeb, such as hosting (Google Firebase) and payment processing, or when required by law.
5. Storage and security
Each company's data is kept in a separate workspace. Data is encrypted in transit and access to our systems is restricted to authorized staff.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, your workspace data is deleted from our systems after 90 days. Records already synced to your Google account remain there.
7. Your choices
You can view and update your profile at any time. Your company admin can export or delete company data. To make a privacy request, contact us.
8. California residents
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us.
9. Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we will notify company admins by email before they take effect.

The Hidden Cost of “I Thought It Was Done” and Why Verification Beats Trust
“Done” is the most expensive word in business when nobody checks it. Learn how a simple proof-and-sign-off step protects quality, reputation and your team’s credibility.
TTTaskeb Team6 min read
Ask any owner about their worst week in business and there is a good chance the story includes the phrase “I thought it was done.” A delivery that never went out. A contract that was never signed. A customer who was promised a callback and never got one. In each case, somebody said the task was finished, and everybody believed them.
The problem is not dishonesty. Most of the time, the person genuinely believed it was done. They sent the email, but it bounced. They booked the courier, but for the wrong day. They uploaded the file, but to the wrong folder. The work looked complete from where they were standing. Nobody checked it from anywhere else.
This article is about closing that gap. We will look at why trust-based task management fails even with great people, what a lightweight verification step looks like, and how Taskeb makes “done” mean “checked” without slowing your team down.
Why “done” is so often wrong
A task has two kinds of completion. There is activity completion, meaning the person did the steps. And there is outcome completion, meaning the result actually exists and is correct. Most task tools only track the first kind. You tick a box, and the tool assumes the outcome followed.
In a small team, this gap is covered by the owner’s memory and instinct. You know which jobs tend to go wrong, and you double-check them yourself. As the team grows, that stops working. You can’t personally check everything, and the jobs you don’t check are exactly the ones that slip.
A useful test
For any recurring task, ask: “If this were wrong, when would we find out?” If the answer is “when a customer complains,” you need a verification step.
What verification looks like in practice
Verification sounds formal, but in Taskeb it is one extra step that takes seconds. When a task is created, the manager chooses who will verify it. When the employee finishes, they don’t just mark it done. They submit proof.
Proof can be anything that shows the outcome exists:
A photo of the finished display, the delivered package or the repaired equipment.
A document, such as a signed contract, an invoice or a report.
A short note with a reference number, tracking link or confirmation.
The verifier sees the proof and does one of two things: approves it, or returns it with a reason. Approved tasks move to Verified and are stamped with the verifier’s name and the time. Returned tasks go back to the owner with clear instructions.
Proof is submitted, reviewed and stamped. Only then does the task count as done.
The four costs verification prevents
When “done” goes unchecked, the costs show up in four places.
Rework. The job has to be done again, often in a hurry and at a higher cost. A missed delivery becomes an expedited delivery.
Reputation. Customers don’t see your internal task list. They see the missed promise. One “I thought it was done” can undo months of good service.
Management time. Owners and managers spend hours investigating what went wrong, who said what, and when. Without a record, these investigations rarely reach a clear answer.
Team trust. When mistakes surface late, people start pointing fingers. Good employees get frustrated when they are blamed for gaps they didn’t create.
Verification isn’t about distrust. It’s about making sure good work gets seen, and mistakes get caught while they are still cheap.
Why verification actually builds trust
Some owners hesitate to add verification because they worry it signals distrust. In practice, teams tend to feel the opposite. Here is why.
First, verification is consistent. Everyone’s work gets the same check, so nobody feels singled out.
Second, it creates a record of good work. Every verified task is proof that someone did their job well. Over time, that record becomes the fairest possible basis for reviews, raises and promotions.
Third, it catches problems early, when fixing them is a two-minute conversation instead of a crisis. That protects the employee as much as the business.

Choosing what to verify
Not every task needs the same level of checking. A useful approach is to sort work into three groups.
Type of task
Example
Verification
High impact, customer-facing
Deliveries, contracts, payments
Always verify, with proof
Internal but important
Reports, stock counts, payroll prep
Verify, proof optional
Routine and low risk
Tidying, internal reminders
No verification needed
Taskeb lets you set this per task and per recurring schedule. For high-impact work, you can go further with multi-level sign-off: a manager approves first, and an admin gives final approval. This is common for anything involving money or legal documents.
Making verification fast
The biggest risk with verification is that it becomes a bottleneck. If proof sits waiting for a busy manager, work stalls. Taskeb helps in three ways.
A dedicated “Awaiting check” list shows every manager exactly what is waiting for them.
Mobile approval means managers can verify from their phone between meetings.
Owner visibility makes bottlenecks obvious. If one manager has a pile of tasks waiting, you will see it on the dashboard and can rebalance the load.
Checklist
Set a verifier when the task is created
Ask for proof that shows the outcome
Approve or return within one working day
Use multi-level sign-off for money and contracts
Review verification bottlenecks weekly
A real-world pattern
Consider a typical service business with a small office team and a group of technicians in the field. Before verification, jobs were marked complete when the technician called in. The office would invoice, and occasionally a customer would call to say the work wasn’t finished. Each of those calls meant a return visit, a delayed payment and an awkward conversation.
With verification, technicians snap a photo of the finished work and attach it to the task before leaving the site. The office manager approves it from the dashboard, and only verified jobs are invoiced. The return visits don’t disappear completely, but they become rare, and when they happen, there is a photo that shows exactly what was done.
The record you’ll be glad you have
Every verified task in Taskeb is also saved to your Google Sheet, with the owner, the verifier and the date. Over months, this becomes a complete, searchable record of what your business delivered and who signed it off. When a customer disputes a job, when an auditor asks a question, or when you simply want to understand how a project went, the answer is already written down.
How to roll out verification in one week
You don't need a big launch to start verifying work. A simple five-day plan is enough for most teams.
Day one: pick the three recurring tasks that have caused the most trouble in the last six months. These are usually customer-facing: deliveries, callbacks or invoices.
Day two: decide what proof looks like for each one. Be concrete. "A photo of the signed delivery note" is better than "evidence."
Day three: assign a verifier for each task type. Choose someone who is available during the day, not the busiest person in the company.
Day four: explain the change to the team. Emphasize that verification protects them. When something goes wrong later, there is a record showing their part was done right.
Day five: review the first batch of verified tasks together. Celebrate the ones that went smoothly, and fix any confusion about proof while it is still small.
After a week, most teams stop thinking of verification as an extra step. It simply becomes how work is finished.
The bottom line
“I thought it was done” is not a character flaw. It is what happens when completion is based on memory instead of evidence. A light verification step, with proof and a named approver, turns “done” into a fact you can rely on.
Taskeb was built around that idea. Tasks aren’t finished when someone says so. They are finished when someone has checked.
