Taskeb is the task management system for teams that need to know what actually got done. Assign work, keep a daily diary, chase follow-ups and verify every result, with everything synced to your own Google Sheets.
Replace the group texts, sticky notes and guesswork.
Most teams track work in five places and trust none of them. Taskeb puts assignment, daily reporting and sign-off into one system that managers can read at a glance.
"I texted him about it"
Every task has an owner and a deadline
Work is assigned in writing, with a due date, priority and department. Nobody can say they didn't know.
"I think it was done"
Done means checked
Staff attach proof when they finish. A manager verifies it before the task counts as complete.
"Where is that file?"
Every file is indexed
Documents uploaded against tasks land in Google Drive and appear in one searchable index for admins.

Questions
Common questions.
Still unsure? Book a demo and we'll set up Taskeb with your real departments while you watch.
Do my employees need a Google account?
No. Staff sign up with any work email. Only the company admin connects a Google account, which is used for Sheets sync and Drive file storage.
Can my team use it on their phones?
Yes. Taskeb has an Android and iOS app for tasks, diary entries, follow-ups and photo proof, plus a web dashboard for managers and admins.
Who can see an employee's files?
Each employee sees only their own files. Admins can see every employee's files from the Drive index. Managers see work belonging to their own department.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your tasks, diaries and verifications are already in your Google Sheet and your files are in your Google Drive. They stay with you after you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Enterprise customers can contact us about paying by invoice.
What if we have more than 500 users?

We built Taskeb because "I think it's done" isn't good enough.
Taskeb started inside a real company, as a Google Sheet, a set of forms and a lot of follow-up calls. It became the system that team runs on. Now we're making it available to every business that needs proof of work.
“Done means checked. The idea Taskeb is built on
Written beats rememberedYour data is yours
Our story
From a spreadsheet to a system.
Like most growing companies, we assigned work over phone calls and group texts, tracked it in spreadsheets and on whiteboards, and spent the end of every week asking who had actually finished what.
So we built a simple tool: every task written down with an owner and a deadline, every employee keeping a daily diary, every result checked by a manager before it counted as done, and everything saved to our own Google Sheet.
It changed how the whole company worked. Taskeb is that tool, rebuilt as a proper web and mobile product so any team can use it.
What we believe
Four ideas behind every feature.
These principles decide what goes into Taskeb and what stays out.
01
Written beats remembered
If a task isn't written down with an owner and a date, it doesn't exist. Taskeb makes writing it down faster than saying it.
02
Done means checked
Finishing work and proving it are part of the same job. Verification is built in, not bolted on.
03
Your data is yours
Your records sync to your own Google Sheets and Drive. You can leave any time and take everything with you.
04
Simple enough for everyone
Field staff, office teams and owners all use the same system. If it needs training to use, we haven't finished designing it.

This policy explains what information Taskeb collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, web app and mobile apps.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, work email, phone number, company name, department and role.
Work data: the tasks, diary entries, follow-ups, comments, proof and files your team adds to Taskeb.
Usage information: sign-in times, device type, app version and activity inside the app, used to provide activity monitoring to your company admin and to improve the product.
Billing information: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
2. How we use information
We use your information to run the service, sync your records to your connected Google account, send reminders and notifications, provide support, process payments and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Google Sheets and Google Drive
When your admin connects a Google account, Taskeb writes your company's records to the Google Sheet and Drive folders you choose. That data lives in your Google account and is controlled by you. We only access the files Taskeb creates or that you select.
4. Who can see your data
Inside your company, access follows the roles your admin sets. Employees see their own work, managers see their department and admins see all company data. Outside your company, we share data only with service providers who help us run Taskeb, such as hosting (Google Firebase) and payment processing, or when required by law.
5. Storage and security
Each company's data is kept in a separate workspace. Data is encrypted in transit and access to our systems is restricted to authorized staff.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, your workspace data is deleted from our systems after 90 days. Records already synced to your Google account remain there.
7. Your choices
You can view and update your profile at any time. Your company admin can export or delete company data. To make a privacy request, contact us.
8. California residents
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us.
9. Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we will notify company admins by email before they take effect.

Daily Work Diaries: The 60-Second Habit That Makes Teams Accountable
A one-minute daily log sounds small. Done consistently, it becomes the most honest record of your business, and the fastest way for managers to spot problems early.
TTTaskeb Team6 min read
If you could ask every person on your team one question at the end of each day, it would probably be this: “What did you actually get done today?” Not what they planned, not what they meant to do, but what happened.
Most businesses never get a reliable answer. Weekly meetings capture a fraction of it. Timesheets capture hours but not outcomes. And memory, the tool most teams rely on, is famously bad at remembering Tuesday by the time Friday arrives.
The daily work diary fixes this. It is a short, time-stamped log that each employee writes during or at the end of the day. In Taskeb, it takes about a minute from a phone. This article explains why such a small habit has such a large effect, how to introduce it without resistance, and how managers and owners can use the diary to run a calmer, more accountable business.
What a work diary is, and what it isn’t
A work diary is a list of short entries, each with a time and a sentence or two about what happened. For example:
9:10 AM. Called three clinic leads, booked one meeting for Thursday.
12:40 PM. Sent the revised quote to the Austin branch.
4:05 PM. Proposal sent to Brookline clinic, follow-up set for Monday.
It is not a timesheet. Nobody is counting minutes. It is not a performance review. And it is not surveillance. It is simply a written record of the working day, in the employee’s own words.
Entries are added through the day in seconds, then submitted as one daily record.
Why writing it down changes behavior
There is a simple reason diaries work. When people know they will write down what they did, they plan their day around doing things worth writing down. It shifts attention from being busy to being productive.
Diaries also give employees something they rarely get: a record of their own contribution. On a hectic day, it is easy to feel like nothing got done. Reading back six solid entries is a reminder that a lot did.
The diary isn’t for the manager to check on the employee. It’s for everyone to see the same picture of the day.
What managers get from the diary
For managers, the diary replaces a surprising number of meetings and messages. Instead of asking each person what they are working on, a manager can read the department’s diary feed in a few minutes. Patterns jump out quickly:
Someone stuck on the same task for three days in a row.
A customer mentioned repeatedly across several people’s entries.
Work that isn’t linked to any task, which often means unplanned requests are eating the team’s time.
Quiet days, where entries are thin. These are often a sign that someone is blocked and hasn’t said so.
Because entries can be linked to tasks, the diary also enriches the task history. When you open a task, you see every diary entry related to it, in order. That makes handovers painless. If someone is off sick, their colleague can read exactly where things stand.

How owners use the diary
Owners rarely read every entry, and they don’t need to. The diary gives them three things.
A pulse on the business. Skimming one department’s diary for a few minutes tells you more about what is happening than a long meeting.
Early warning. Problems show up in the diary days before they show up in results. A salesperson who writes “no response” five times in a week needs support now, not at the end of the quarter.
A permanent record. Every entry is saved to your Google Sheet. Months later, when you need to know what happened on a project or with a customer, the answer is there.
Introducing diaries without resistance
The fastest way to kill a diary habit is to introduce it as a monitoring tool. The best way to make it stick is to introduce it as a tool for the team. Here is an approach that works well.
Explain the why. Tell the team the diary replaces status meetings and check-in messages. Fewer interruptions is an easy sell.
Start with managers. When team leads write their own diaries first, it signals that this is how the whole company works, not a rule for junior staff.
Keep it short. Three to six entries a day is plenty. One sentence each is fine.
Use the reminder. Taskeb sends a gentle reminder at the end of the day if the diary hasn’t been submitted.
Respond to what you read. When a manager comments on a diary entry, offers help or says thanks, the team sees that someone is reading and that it matters.
Checklist
Explain that diaries replace status meetings
Managers write their own diaries first
Keep entries to one or two sentences
Turn on the end-of-day reminder
Comment on and act on what you read
What makes a good entry
Good entries are specific and outcome-focused. Compare these two:
Vague entry
Useful entry
Worked on the quote
Sent revised quote to Denver branch, waiting on approval
Calls
Called 5 leads, 2 interested, demo booked Thursday 2 PM
Admin
Filed September invoices, flagged 2 missing POs to accounts
The useful versions take a few more seconds to write, but they save everyone else from having to ask follow-up questions.
Diaries for field and remote teams
Diaries are especially valuable for people who don’t work in the office. A technician, driver or sales rep on the road can log entries from the mobile app as they go, often with a photo. For managers, this turns an invisible day into a clear timeline. For the employee, it is proof of the work they did, which matters when a customer later disputes a visit or a delivery time.
Tip for field teams
Ask staff to add an entry when they arrive at and leave each site. The timeline answers most customer questions before they are asked.
Common questions
Won’t people just write what they think you want to hear? Occasionally, at first. But diaries are linked to tasks, follow-ups and verified results. Over time, entries that don’t match outcomes stand out, and the habit naturally becomes more honest.
What if someone forgets? The end-of-day reminder handles most cases. Managers can also see missed days at a glance and follow up personally.
Is this too much for a small team? Small teams often benefit most, because every person’s work has a large impact and there are fewer managers to keep track of it.
Reading the diary like a pro
Managers who get the most from diaries don't read every word. They read for signals. Here are the ones worth looking for.
Repetition. The same task, customer or problem appearing day after day usually means something is stuck. Step in with a question, not a reprimand: "What would help you finish this?"
Gaps between tasks and entries. If someone's diary is full but their assigned tasks aren't moving, they are probably being pulled into unplanned work. That is a prioritization conversation, not a performance one.
Wins worth sharing. Diaries are full of small victories that never make it into meetings: a difficult customer calmed down, a supplier who agreed to better terms, a process someone quietly improved. Mentioning these in a team channel or a weekly review builds morale quickly.
Changes in tone. Shorter entries, fewer details or more frustrated language can be an early sign that someone is overwhelmed. A friendly check-in at that moment is worth far more than a formal review months later.
The bottom line
A daily work diary is one of the smallest habits you can introduce and one of the most powerful. It gives employees credit for their work, gives managers an early-warning system, and gives owners a permanent, searchable record of how the business actually runs.
In Taskeb, the diary lives right next to tasks, follow-ups and verification, so the whole picture fits together. Sixty seconds a day is a small price for a business where everyone can see what got done.
