Taskeb is the task management system for teams that need to know what actually got done. Assign work, keep a daily diary, chase follow-ups and verify every result, with everything synced to your own Google Sheets.
Replace the group texts, sticky notes and guesswork.
Most teams track work in five places and trust none of them. Taskeb puts assignment, daily reporting and sign-off into one system that managers can read at a glance.
"I texted him about it"
Every task has an owner and a deadline
Work is assigned in writing, with a due date, priority and department. Nobody can say they didn't know.
"I think it was done"
Done means checked
Staff attach proof when they finish. A manager verifies it before the task counts as complete.
"Where is that file?"
Every file is indexed
Documents uploaded against tasks land in Google Drive and appear in one searchable index for admins.

Questions
Common questions.
Still unsure? Book a demo and we'll set up Taskeb with your real departments while you watch.
Do my employees need a Google account?
No. Staff sign up with any work email. Only the company admin connects a Google account, which is used for Sheets sync and Drive file storage.
Can my team use it on their phones?
Yes. Taskeb has an Android and iOS app for tasks, diary entries, follow-ups and photo proof, plus a web dashboard for managers and admins.
Who can see an employee's files?
Each employee sees only their own files. Admins can see every employee's files from the Drive index. Managers see work belonging to their own department.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your tasks, diaries and verifications are already in your Google Sheet and your files are in your Google Drive. They stay with you after you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Enterprise customers can contact us about paying by invoice.
What if we have more than 500 users?
Contact us. We'll set up a custom plan for your headcount with multi-branch setup, custom reports and a dedicated account manager.

We built Taskeb because "I think it's done" isn't good enough.
Taskeb started inside a real company, as a Google Sheet, a set of forms and a lot of follow-up calls. It became the system that team runs on. Now we're making it available to every business that needs proof of work.
“Done means checked. The idea Taskeb is built on
Written beats rememberedYour data is yours
Our story
From a spreadsheet to a system.
Like most growing companies, we assigned work over phone calls and group texts, tracked it in spreadsheets and on whiteboards, and spent the end of every week asking who had actually finished what.
So we built a simple tool: every task written down with an owner and a deadline, every employee keeping a daily diary, every result checked by a manager before it counted as done, and everything saved to our own Google Sheet.
It changed how the whole company worked. Taskeb is that tool, rebuilt as a proper web and mobile product so any team can use it.
What we believe
Four ideas behind every feature.
These principles decide what goes into Taskeb and what stays out.
01
Written beats remembered
If a task isn't written down with an owner and a date, it doesn't exist. Taskeb makes writing it down faster than saying it.
02
Done means checked
Finishing work and proving it are part of the same job. Verification is built in, not bolted on.
03
Your data is yours
Your records sync to your own Google Sheets and Drive. You can leave any time and take everything with you.
04
Simple enough for everyone
Field staff, office teams and owners all use the same system. If it needs training to use, we haven't finished designing it.

This policy explains what information Taskeb collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, web app and mobile apps.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, work email, phone number, company name, department and role.
Work data: the tasks, diary entries, follow-ups, comments, proof and files your team adds to Taskeb.
Usage information: sign-in times, device type, app version and activity inside the app, used to provide activity monitoring to your company admin and to improve the product.
Billing information: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
2. How we use information
We use your information to run the service, sync your records to your connected Google account, send reminders and notifications, provide support, process payments and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Google Sheets and Google Drive
When your admin connects a Google account, Taskeb writes your company's records to the Google Sheet and Drive folders you choose. That data lives in your Google account and is controlled by you. We only access the files Taskeb creates or that you select.
4. Who can see your data
Inside your company, access follows the roles your admin sets. Employees see their own work, managers see their department and admins see all company data. Outside your company, we share data only with service providers who help us run Taskeb, such as hosting (Google Firebase) and payment processing, or when required by law.
5. Storage and security
Each company's data is kept in a separate workspace. Data is encrypted in transit and access to our systems is restricted to authorized staff.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, your workspace data is deleted from our systems after 90 days. Records already synced to your Google account remain there.
7. Your choices
You can view and update your profile at any time. Your company admin can export or delete company data. To make a privacy request, contact us.
8. California residents
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us.
9. Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we will notify company admins by email before they take effect.

Stop Chasing Updates: How Owners Get Real-Time Visibility Without Micromanaging
If your day starts with texts asking “Is this done yet?”, you don’t have a people problem. You have a visibility problem. Here’s how to see every task’s status without hovering over anyone.
TTTaskeb Team6 min read
Every business owner knows the feeling. It is 9:40 on a Tuesday morning, and you have already sent six messages that all say some version of the same thing: “Where are we on this?” One employee replies with a thumbs-up. Another says “working on it.” A third doesn’t answer until lunch. By the time you have a rough picture of what is happening, half the morning is gone, and you still aren’t sure which of those answers you can trust.
This is not a people problem. Most of your team wants to do good work. It is a visibility problem, and it quietly costs owners more time than almost anything else they do. In this article we will look at why chasing updates is so expensive, why the usual fixes don’t work, and how a simple shift in the way work is recorded gives you real-time visibility without turning you into a micromanager.
Why chasing updates costs more than you think
When you ask someone for an update, you pay three times. First, you pay with your own attention: writing the message, waiting, reading the reply and deciding whether it is good enough. Second, your employee pays by stopping what they were doing to write a status report that nobody will ever look at again. Third, the business pays because the information you get back is already out of date by the time you read it.
Multiply that by every person on your team and every open task, and “quick check-ins” become one of the largest hidden costs in a small or growing company. Worse, they train your team to wait for you to ask. Work that could have moved forward on its own stalls until the owner notices it.
The real cost
Status updates that live in text threads and phone calls disappear the moment they are sent. You pay for the same information again next week.
Why the usual fixes don’t work
Most owners try one of three fixes. Each one helps a little and then creates a new problem.
More meetings. A daily stand-up gives you a snapshot, but it takes everyone away from work and still depends on what people remember to say.
Shared spreadsheets. A tracker sheet is a good start, but nobody updates it at the right moment, and it has no idea whether a task was actually finished or just marked “done.”
Group chats. Chats are fast, but they mix decisions, jokes, photos and deadlines into one endless scroll. Finding the status of a single job means searching back through hundreds of messages.
The common thread is that status lives somewhere separate from the work itself. People have to stop and report. That is the step that breaks.
The shift: make status a by-product of the work
The fix is to make the status of a task update automatically as the work moves forward. In Taskeb, every task is created with an owner, a due date and a verifier. As your employee works, three things happen naturally:
They log progress in their daily diary, which takes about a minute from their phone.
When they finish, they submit proof: a photo, a document or a short note.
Their manager verifies the result, and the task moves to Verified with a name and timestamp.
Nobody writes a separate status report. The board you look at is simply the work, in the state it is actually in.
Tasks move across the board on their own as people log work, submit proof and get sign-off.
What owners actually see
When you open Taskeb in the morning, you don’t see a wall of messages. You see a short list of answers to the questions you would otherwise be asking:
What is due today, and who owns it.
What is overdue, and how long it has been waiting.
What is waiting for sign-off, so you know where managers are the bottleneck.
What was verified yesterday, with proof attached.
Because each task carries its own history, you can open any job and see every diary entry, follow-up and comment in order. You don’t need to ask how it went. You can read it.

Visibility is not the same as micromanaging
Some owners worry that seeing everything will make them hover even more. In practice, the opposite happens. Micromanaging comes from uncertainty. When you can’t see what is going on, the only way to feel in control is to ask, check and re-check.
When the status of every job is visible and trustworthy, you can step back. You only step in when something is actually off track: a task that is overdue, a follow-up that was missed, or proof that was sent back. Everything else is handled by the people you hired to handle it.
Owners don’t micromanage because they want to. They micromanage because they can’t see.
This also changes how your team experiences management. Instead of random interruptions, they get clear expectations up front: who owns the task, when it is due, and who will check it. Good employees love this. It means their work is visible without them having to announce it.
A simple morning routine that replaces the check-in texts
Here is the routine many Taskeb owners settle into. It takes about ten minutes.
Open the dashboard and look at the Overdue count first. Anything there gets your attention today.
Scan “Awaiting check.” If one manager has a pile of tasks waiting for verification, that is your bottleneck, not the people doing the work.
Read yesterday’s diary feed for one department. You will learn more in three minutes than in a 30-minute meeting.
Look at follow-ups due today. These are the promises your team has made to customers and partners.
Close the app. If nothing is red, you don’t need to do anything else.
Checklist
Check overdue tasks first
Look for verification bottlenecks
Read one department’s diary
Review today’s follow-ups
Step away if everything is on track
What changes after a few weeks
When teams move from chasing updates to working in a shared system, a few things tend to happen in the first month.
Fewer interruptions. The volume of “where are we on this?” messages drops sharply because the answer is already visible.
Clearer ownership. Every task has one owner. There is no more “I thought she was handling it.”
Faster sign-off. Because verification is built in, finished work doesn’t sit in limbo waiting for someone to notice.
Better conversations. When you do talk to your team, you talk about problems and priorities, not status.

Every task keeps its full history
Getting started without disrupting your week
You don’t need to move your whole company at once. Start with one department and one kind of work, such as customer follow-ups or weekly reports. Create the tasks in Taskeb, assign owners and verifiers, and ask the team to log a short diary entry at the end of each day. Within a week, you will be able to answer most of your own status questions without sending a single message.
Once that department is running smoothly, add the next one. Most teams can be fully set up within a month, and one of the first things you are likely to notice is how much quieter your phone becomes.
Try this
Pick the five tasks you asked about most last week. Put them in Taskeb with an owner and a verifier. Next week, notice how many times you still need to ask.
The bottom line
Chasing updates feels like management, but it is really a symptom of work that can’t be seen. When status becomes a natural by-product of doing the work, owners get their mornings back, managers spend their time on decisions instead of reminders, and employees get credit for what they actually finish.
That is the promise of Taskeb: every task, every day, on the record. Not so you can watch more closely, but so you don’t have to.
