Taskeb is the task management system for teams that need to know what actually got done. Assign work, keep a daily diary, chase follow-ups and verify every result, with everything synced to your own Google Sheets.
Replace the group texts, sticky notes and guesswork.
Most teams track work in five places and trust none of them. Taskeb puts assignment, daily reporting and sign-off into one system that managers can read at a glance.
"I texted him about it"
Every task has an owner and a deadline
Work is assigned in writing, with a due date, priority and department. Nobody can say they didn't know.
"I think it was done"
Done means checked
Staff attach proof when they finish. A manager verifies it before the task counts as complete.
"Where is that file?"
Every file is indexed
Documents uploaded against tasks land in Google Drive and appear in one searchable index for admins.

Questions
Common questions.
Still unsure? Book a demo and we'll set up Taskeb with your real departments while you watch.
Do my employees need a Google account?
No. Staff sign up with any work email. Only the company admin connects a Google account, which is used for Sheets sync and Drive file storage.
Can my team use it on their phones?
Yes. Taskeb has an Android and iOS app for tasks, diary entries, follow-ups and photo proof, plus a web dashboard for managers and admins.
Who can see an employee's files?
Each employee sees only their own files. Admins can see every employee's files from the Drive index. Managers see work belonging to their own department.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your tasks, diaries and verifications are already in your Google Sheet and your files are in your Google Drive. They stay with you after you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Enterprise customers can contact us about paying by invoice.
What if we have more than 500 users?
Contact us. We'll set up a custom plan for your headcount with multi-branch setup, custom reports and a dedicated account manager.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, your workspace becomes read-only and your records stay in your Google Sheet.
Can I add users in the middle of a billing cycle?
Yes, up to your plan's user limit at no extra cost. If you need more, upgrade and pay only the difference for the rest of the cycle.
Can I export my data?
Your records are already in your Google Sheet and your files in your Google Drive, so you can use or export them at any time.

We built Taskeb because "I think it's done" isn't good enough.
Taskeb started inside a real company, as a Google Sheet, a set of forms and a lot of follow-up calls. It became the system that team runs on. Now we're making it available to every business that needs proof of work.
“Done means checked. The idea Taskeb is built on
Written beats rememberedYour data is yours
Our story
From a spreadsheet to a system.
Like most growing companies, we assigned work over phone calls and group texts, tracked it in spreadsheets and on whiteboards, and spent the end of every week asking who had actually finished what.
So we built a simple tool: every task written down with an owner and a deadline, every employee keeping a daily diary, every result checked by a manager before it counted as done, and everything saved to our own Google Sheet.
It changed how the whole company worked. Taskeb is that tool, rebuilt as a proper web and mobile product so any team can use it.
What we believe
Four ideas behind every feature.
These principles decide what goes into Taskeb and what stays out.
01
Written beats remembered
If a task isn't written down with an owner and a date, it doesn't exist. Taskeb makes writing it down faster than saying it.
02
Done means checked
Finishing work and proving it are part of the same job. Verification is built in, not bolted on.
03
Your data is yours
Your records sync to your own Google Sheets and Drive. You can leave any time and take everything with you.
04
Simple enough for everyone
Field staff, office teams and owners all use the same system. If it needs training to use, we haven't finished designing it.

This policy explains what information Taskeb collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, web app and mobile apps.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, work email, phone number, company name, department and role.
Work data: the tasks, diary entries, follow-ups, comments, proof and files your team adds to Taskeb.
Usage information: sign-in times, device type, app version and activity inside the app, used to provide activity monitoring to your company admin and to improve the product.
Billing information: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
2. How we use information
We use your information to run the service, sync your records to your connected Google account, send reminders and notifications, provide support, process payments and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Google Sheets and Google Drive
When your admin connects a Google account, Taskeb writes your company's records to the Google Sheet and Drive folders you choose. That data lives in your Google account and is controlled by you. We only access the files Taskeb creates or that you select.
4. Who can see your data
Inside your company, access follows the roles your admin sets. Employees see their own work, managers see their department and admins see all company data. Outside your company, we share data only with service providers who help us run Taskeb, such as hosting (Google Firebase) and payment processing, or when required by law.
5. Storage and security
Each company's data is kept in a separate workspace. Data is encrypted in transit and access to our systems is restricted to authorized staff.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, your workspace data is deleted from our systems after 90 days. Records already synced to your Google account remain there.
7. Your choices
You can view and update your profile at any time. Your company admin can export or delete company data. To make a privacy request, contact us.
8. California residents
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us.
9. Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we will notify company admins by email before they take effect.

Delegation That Sticks: How Clear Ownership Frees the Owner’s Time
Most owners know they should delegate more. The hard part is trusting that delegated work will actually get done. Here’s how clear ownership and verification make delegation stick.
TTTaskeb Team5 min read
Ask a business owner what they would do with ten extra hours a week and you will hear ambitious answers: build new partnerships, improve the product, plan expansion, spend time with family. Ask them why they don’t have those hours, and the answer is usually the same. They are doing work that someone else could do.
Most owners know they should delegate more. They have read the advice and even tried it. But delegation often goes wrong. Tasks come back late, half-done or not at all. The owner ends up redoing the work and concludes, “It’s faster if I do it myself.” The cycle repeats, and the owner stays stuck in the day-to-day.
The problem is rarely the people. It is the lack of a system that makes delegation reliable. This article explains why delegation fails, what makes it stick, and how Taskeb turns “can you handle this?” into work that actually gets done.
Why delegation fails
Delegation usually breaks down in one of four places.
The handoff is vague. “Can you sort out the supplier thing?” leaves the employee guessing what “sorted” means and when it is needed.
Ownership is unclear. A task delegated in a group conversation is often picked up by nobody, because everybody assumes someone else took it.
There is no checkpoint. The owner doesn’t find out anything went wrong until the deadline has passed.
The result isn’t checked. Work comes back “done,” but nobody confirms it meets the standard, so mistakes surface later.
The delegation trap
When delegated work fails, owners take it back. When owners take work back, they have less time to delegate properly. Breaking this loop needs a system, not more willpower.
Work passes from the owner to the right person, with a clear due date, checkpoints and sign-off.
The five parts of delegation that sticks
Delegation works when five things are in place. Taskeb builds each of them into every task.
A clear outcome. The task title and description say what “done” looks like, not just what to work on.
One owner. Every task is assigned to a specific person, never a group.
A due date. Deadlines are explicit, visible and trigger reminders.
Checkpoints. Follow-ups and diary entries show progress along the way, so there are no surprises at the deadline.
Verification. A named person checks the result, with proof, before the task counts as done.
When all five are present, the owner doesn’t need to hover. They can trust the system to surface problems early and confirm success at the end.

Writing a good delegated task
The quality of the handoff decides most outcomes. Compare these two versions of the same task:
Vague
Clear

Due: Friday, Oct 3, 5 PM
Assigned to: sales team
Assigned to: Olivia Brooks

Verifier: Emily Carter, proof: signed PDF
The clear version takes about thirty seconds longer to write and saves hours of back-and-forth.
Delegating a task isn’t the same as delegating responsibility. Clear ownership and a named verifier make sure both happen.
Delegating to managers, not just employees
As a business grows, the biggest time savings come from delegating verification and follow-up to managers, not just delegating tasks to employees. When the owner is the verifier for everything, they become the bottleneck, no matter how well tasks are assigned.
In Taskeb, you can set department managers as the default verifiers for their teams’ work. The owner still sees everything on the dashboard, but only steps in when something escalates or when a task is high-risk enough to need a second approval.
What to delegate first
If you are not sure where to start, list everything you did in the past two weeks and sort it into three groups:
Only I can do this: strategy, key relationships, final decisions on money and hiring.
Someone else could do this with clear instructions: reports, supplier follow-ups, scheduling, routine approvals.
Someone else should already be doing this: data entry, reminders, simple customer requests.
Start with the third group, then move to the second. For each task you hand over, create it in Taskeb with a clear outcome, owner, due date and verifier.
Checklist
List everything you did in the last two weeks
Hand over the “should already be delegated” work first
Write every task with a clear outcome and due date
Assign one owner and one verifier
Let managers verify their own teams’ work
Letting go without losing control
Many owners struggle with delegation because it feels like losing control. The reality with a good system is the opposite. When everything you delegated is visible, with an owner, a due date, progress notes and proof of completion, you have more control than when you were doing it yourself and keeping track in your head.
You can check the status of any delegated task in seconds. You get alerts when follow-ups are missed or deadlines pass. And every result is verified before it is marked done. That is the kind of control that lets you step back with confidence.
Coaching through delegation
Delegation is also one of the best ways to develop your team. Each task you hand over is a chance for someone to build a new skill. Use Taskeb’s task comments and verification notes to give specific feedback. When you return a task, explain exactly what needs to change. When you approve one, mention what was done well. Over time, the people you delegate to become capable of taking on larger and more complex responsibilities.
Measuring whether delegation is working
It helps to check, every month or so, whether delegation is actually freeing your time. Taskeb makes this easy. Look at how many tasks you personally created, how many you verified yourself and how many escalated back to you. If those numbers are falling while your team’s verified output is steady or rising, delegation is working.
You can also track your own diary. Many owners are surprised when they read back a month of their own entries and see how much of their time still goes to routine work. Each of those entries is a candidate for the next round of delegation. Treat it as a steady process rather than a one-time change, and within a few months the shape of your working week will look very different.
Common delegation mistakes to avoid
Even with a good system, a few habits can undermine delegation. Watch out for these.
Delegating only the boring parts. If you keep every interesting decision for yourself, people lose motivation. Hand over some meaningful work, not just chores.
Checking too often. Once a task has an owner, a due date and checkpoints, resist the urge to message about it. Let the system tell you if something slips.
Taking work back at the first problem. When a delegated task goes wrong, return it with feedback instead of doing it yourself. The second attempt is where the learning happens.
Delegating without authority. If someone owns a supplier negotiation but has to ask you before agreeing to anything, they don't really own it. Set clear limits, such as a discount they can approve on their own, and let them act within them.
Avoiding these mistakes turns delegation from a one-off handover into a steady transfer of responsibility that frees more of your time every month.
The bottom line
Delegation fails when handoffs are vague, ownership is unclear, progress is invisible and results aren’t checked. It sticks when every task has a clear outcome, one owner, a due date, checkpoints along the way and a named verifier. Taskeb builds all five into everyday work, so owners can hand over more, worry less and finally spend their time on the work only they can do.
