Taskeb is the task management system for teams that need to know what actually got done. Assign work, keep a daily diary, chase follow-ups and verify every result, with everything synced to your own Google Sheets.
Replace the group texts, sticky notes and guesswork.
Most teams track work in five places and trust none of them. Taskeb puts assignment, daily reporting and sign-off into one system that managers can read at a glance.
"I texted him about it"
Every task has an owner and a deadline
Work is assigned in writing, with a due date, priority and department. Nobody can say they didn't know.
"I think it was done"
Done means checked
Staff attach proof when they finish. A manager verifies it before the task counts as complete.
"Where is that file?"
Every file is indexed
Documents uploaded against tasks land in Google Drive and appear in one searchable index for admins.
The product
Eight tools that work as one system.

Questions
Common questions.
Still unsure? Book a demo and we'll set up Taskeb with your real departments while you watch.
Do my employees need a Google account?
No. Staff sign up with any work email. Only the company admin connects a Google account, which is used for Sheets sync and Drive file storage.
Can my team use it on their phones?
Yes. Taskeb has an Android and iOS app for tasks, diary entries, follow-ups and photo proof, plus a web dashboard for managers and admins.
Who can see an employee's files?
Each employee sees only their own files. Admins can see every employee's files from the Drive index. Managers see work belonging to their own department.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your tasks, diaries and verifications are already in your Google Sheet and your files are in your Google Drive. They stay with you after you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Enterprise customers can contact us about paying by invoice.
What if we have more than 500 users?
Contact us. We'll set up a custom plan for your headcount with multi-branch setup, custom reports and a dedicated account manager.
What happens when my free trial ends?
Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, your workspace becomes read-only and your records stay in your Google Sheet.
Can I add users in the middle of a billing cycle?
Yes, up to your plan's user limit at no extra cost. If you need more, upgrade and pay only the difference for the rest of the cycle.
Can I export my data?
Your records are already in your Google Sheet and your files in your Google Drive, so you can use or export them at any time.
Is Taskeb secure?
Each company has a private workspace, access follows the roles you set, and data is encrypted in transit. See the Security page for details.

We built Taskeb because "I think it's done" isn't good enough.
Taskeb started inside a real company, as a Google Sheet, a set of forms and a lot of follow-up calls. It became the system that team runs on. Now we're making it available to every business that needs proof of work.
“Done means checked. The idea Taskeb is built on
Written beats rememberedYour data is yours
Our story
From a spreadsheet to a system.
Like most growing companies, we assigned work over phone calls and group texts, tracked it in spreadsheets and on whiteboards, and spent the end of every week asking who had actually finished what.
So we built a simple tool: every task written down with an owner and a deadline, every employee keeping a daily diary, every result checked by a manager before it counted as done, and everything saved to our own Google Sheet.
It changed how the whole company worked. Taskeb is that tool, rebuilt as a proper web and mobile product so any team can use it.
What we believe
Four ideas behind every feature.
These principles decide what goes into Taskeb and what stays out.
01
Written beats remembered
If a task isn't written down with an owner and a date, it doesn't exist. Taskeb makes writing it down faster than saying it.
02
Done means checked
Finishing work and proving it are part of the same job. Verification is built in, not bolted on.
03
Your data is yours
Your records sync to your own Google Sheets and Drive. You can leave any time and take everything with you.
04
Simple enough for everyone
Field staff, office teams and owners all use the same system. If it needs training to use, we haven't finished designing it.

This policy explains what information Taskeb collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, web app and mobile apps.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, work email, phone number, company name, department and role.
Work data: the tasks, diary entries, follow-ups, comments, proof and files your team adds to Taskeb.
Usage information: sign-in times, device type, app version and activity inside the app, used to provide activity monitoring to your company admin and to improve the product.
Billing information: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
2. How we use information
We use your information to run the service, sync your records to your connected Google account, send reminders and notifications, provide support, process payments and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Google Sheets and Google Drive
When your admin connects a Google account, Taskeb writes your company's records to the Google Sheet and Drive folders you choose. That data lives in your Google account and is controlled by you. We only access the files Taskeb creates or that you select.
4. Who can see your data
Inside your company, access follows the roles your admin sets. Employees see their own work, managers see their department and admins see all company data. Outside your company, we share data only with service providers who help us run Taskeb, such as hosting (Google Firebase) and payment processing, or when required by law.
5. Storage and security
Each company's data is kept in a separate workspace. Data is encrypted in transit and access to our systems is restricted to authorized staff.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, your workspace data is deleted from our systems after 90 days. Records already synced to your Google account remain there.
7. Your choices
You can view and update your profile at any time. Your company admin can export or delete company data. To make a privacy request, contact us.
8. California residents
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us.
9. Changes
If we make important changes to this policy, we will notify company admins by email before they take effect.

Getting started
From Group Texts to a System: A Step-by-Step Migration Guide for Small Businesses
Group chats got you this far. Here’s a practical, low-stress plan for moving your team’s work into one organized system in about four weeks, without losing a single task.
TTTaskeb Team6 min read
Almost every small business runs on group texts at some point. They are free, everyone already has them, and they are fast. When you have four people and one location, a chat thread is often all the system you need.
Then the business grows. The thread gets longer. A second thread appears for the warehouse, a third for the managers, and a fourth that someone started for “urgent stuff only.” Important decisions get buried under photos and emojis. New hires are added to threads and scroll back through months of history trying to understand what is going on. Tasks are assigned with “can someone handle this?” and nobody is sure who did.
If that sounds familiar, you are not doing anything wrong. You have simply outgrown the tool. This guide walks you through moving from group texts to a proper system in about four weeks, with as little disruption as possible.
Signs you’ve outgrown group chats
Before you change anything, it helps to name the problems you are trying to solve. Owners usually recognize at least three of these:
You ask the same status question more than once. The answer was in the chat, but you can’t find it.
Tasks have no clear owner. Messages like “can someone do this?” get a thumbs-up from three people and action from none.
New people take weeks to get up to speed, because the history lives in scrollback.
You can’t prove what was done. When a customer disputes something, there is no single record to check.
Your phone never stops. Every message feels urgent because there is no other way to know what matters.
Keep the chat, change its job
You don’t have to delete your group chats. The goal is to stop using them as your task manager. Chats are great for quick conversation. They are terrible at tracking work.
Scattered messages become a clear list of tasks, each with an owner and a due date.
Week 1: Set up the structure
The first week is about building the skeleton of your system before anyone else is involved.
Create your departments. In Taskeb, set up departments that match how your business actually works: Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Office, or whatever makes sense for you. Don’t over-engineer it. You can always add more later.
Decide on roles. Choose who will be an admin (usually the owner and perhaps one senior manager), who will be a manager for each department, and who will be an employee. Managers assign and verify work in their department. Admins see everything.
Connect Google Sheets. Link your company Google account so every task, diary entry and verification is saved to a sheet you own from day one.
List your recurring work. Write down the tasks that happen every day, week or month: opening checklists, weekly reports, invoice runs, stock counts. These will become your first recurring tasks.
Week 2: Start with one department
Pick the department where the pain is most obvious, often the one that generates the most “where are we on this?” messages. Invite that team by email and give them a short introduction. It helps to keep the message simple:
“From Monday, if it’s a task, it goes in Taskeb. If it’s a quick question, the chat is still fine.”
Then create the department’s current open tasks in Taskeb, each with an owner, a due date and a verifier. Add the recurring tasks you listed in week one. Ask each person to install the mobile app and write a short daily diary entry at the end of each day.
Checklist
Invite one department by email
Move all open tasks into Taskeb
Add recurring tasks with schedules
Install the mobile app on every phone
Start the daily diary habit
Week 3: Build the habits
The third week is where the new system either sticks or fades. Three habits make the difference.
The owner stops assigning work in chat. This is the single most important signal you can send. When you think of a task, create it in Taskeb instead. If someone asks you something in chat that is really a task, reply with “Great, can you add that to Taskeb?”
Managers verify daily. Finished work should be checked within a day. When people see their completed tasks move to Verified quickly, they trust the system.
Follow-ups move into the system. Every promise to a customer or supplier gets a follow-up with a date and an owner. This is where the business impact shows up first.

“Done 👍” reply
Proof submitted and verified
Personal reminders and sticky notes
Shared follow-ups with escalation
Scrolling back for history
Opening the task to read its history
Week 4: Expand and refine
By week four, the first department should be running smoothly. Now you can invite the rest of the company, using the first team as proof that it works. Ask one or two people from that team to help their colleagues get started. Peer support is far more convincing than instructions from the owner.
Use this week to refine. Look at which recurring tasks are useful and which are noise. Adjust verification so that high-risk work is always checked and low-risk work isn’t slowed down. Set up the weekly performance summary so you get a clear picture of each department every Friday.

Handling common objections
Change always meets some resistance. Here are the objections owners hear most, and how to answer them.
“It’s more work than just texting.” Creating a task takes about as long as writing a message. The difference is that nobody has to ask about it again.
“I don’t want to be tracked.” Explain that the system records work, not people. It gives everyone credit for what they finish and ends the constant check-in messages.
“The chat works fine for me.” It may, for that person. But the business needs a record that doesn’t depend on anyone’s memory or phone.
“What if I forget to use it?” Reminders, the “Due today” list and the end-of-day diary prompt do most of the remembering. Habits form quickly when the tool is on your phone.
What to keep in the chat
Group chats still have a place. They are ideal for quick coordination (“I’m running ten minutes late”), social moments, and fast questions that don’t create work. A good rule of thumb: if it needs an owner, a date or proof, it belongs in Taskeb. If it doesn’t, the chat is fine.
One rule for the whole team
If it’s work, it’s a task. If it’s a conversation, it’s a chat.
What changes after the move
Owners who complete the move usually describe the same set of changes. Their phones get quieter. They can answer their own questions by looking instead of asking. New employees get up to speed faster because the history of every task is in one place. And perhaps most importantly, the business stops depending on the memory of a few key people.
Customers notice too. Follow-ups happen on time. Deliveries come with proof. Problems are caught earlier. None of this requires the team to work harder. It just requires the work to be visible.
Keeping momentum after the first month
The first month builds the habit. The next few months are about making the system part of how the business thinks. A few practices help.
Review the system, not just the work. Once a month, look at which tasks are created most often, which ones get returned during verification and which follow-ups escalate. These patterns point to processes worth fixing, training worth offering and recurring work worth automating.
Onboard new hires in Taskeb from day one. A new employee who starts with a clear list of tasks, a diary habit and a manager who verifies their work adapts far faster than one who is added to a dozen chat threads and told to scroll back.
Celebrate the quiet wins. When a big order goes out on time with proof attached, or an overdue invoice is collected because a follow-up escalated, say so. People repeat what gets recognized.
The bottom line
Group chats are a great way to start a business and a poor way to run one at scale. Moving to a proper system doesn’t have to be disruptive. Build the structure, start with one department, form the habits and then expand. In about four weeks, you can go from scattered messages to a business where every task has an owner, every result has proof, and nothing depends on scrolling back.
